EGR Valve Question

Featured Replies

I just pulled my EGR valve off for cleaning and noticed that there was definitely no gasket where the egr valve fits to the head, the car is a 2007 1.6 tdci, can anyone please tell me if there should be a gasket as it looks as if its been leaking

Should be a gasket yes,

For best results clean with solvent such as nail polish remover before fitting,

Would you not blank it completely?

Wont trigger any errors
