H7 headlight bulb removal…

I am struggling to remove the wire connector from the back of the H7 headlight bulb on my 2008 (facelift) C-Max. There is what appears to be a small clip - highlighted in red on attached pic - on either side of the black wire connector but pulling them outwards doesn’t release the connector from the back of the bulb. Am i doing something wrong? Any help appreciated! Thanks

    You don't use the clips. The light s literally pull straight out os this connector. Sometimes you need a flat screwdriver to prise them apart. The clip is just part of the mechanism.
