Smell of petrol

Hi all, I own a Fiesta 1.3 with an Endura-E engine. The engine seems to be running a bit rich and there is a smell of petrol.

I'd like to bump that thread as I have the exact same problem on mine 2001 Fiesta. Any help will be appreciated!

used to get it on hot days and window down on my 98 endura engine never found out what it was.only happened on hot days sorry i cant help car ran for years though with no problems.
