I desperately need to open my bonnet to top up the washer bottle fuid but the plastic catch is not pulling the wire to open the bonnet. Have tried grabbing the wire with plyers but it still wont budge. How can I open the bonnet?

Have u had it open before? If yes has there been some sort of accident that's caused some damage/dent to the bonnet that's now causing it to not open? I'm not sure what u mean about the wire my cars have always had a release button and then a fiddley catch you have 2 get your fingers into. So can't offer any practical advice other than I wouldn't try and force it open cos this might cause a more expensive repair, I would just take it 2 a garage where I'm sure they have the equipment 2 open it and fix what evers wrong.hope you get it sorted.
