Service info on instrument cluster?

Featured Replies

A few weeks ago bought a 2018 kuga with 7000 mils on the clock and the lovely Hendy Ford Chichester seem to had lost the service book and manual.

When we collected the car we didnt realise there was no manual and service book and finally after weeks of chasing we received one but they didnt stamp the service book for the service they allegedly did.

To be quite honest from this one simple hiccup I don't trust them as far as I could throw them so wondered if any way to tell from cars instrument cluster when next service is due? I've looked and couldn't see anything. It not, then thats a bit rubbish since I've had it on every other brand of car I've owned.

You do get a service due notification but it's a timed notification not a report of the physical service condition.
If you can't get a proven service record then insist they carry one out now as a confirmation of the vehicle's health.
