Alarm/immobiliser warning light

Featured Replies

Hi

I have a 2018 ford edge st line and was wondering if anyone knows if it has a alarm warning light on dash which stays on when alarm is on. It has 2 led lights in both front doors but these both don't seem to stay on very long after car is locked.would appreciate any help

thanks Andy

Like you say, apart from the small LED on each door where you would expect to find lock buttons on some cars, I don’t think there is any visual sign for the alarm being armed.

I use my mirrors! if they are folded, its locked ... if its locked it's alarmed! If your worried about warning people as a deterrent, a flashing LED is not going to stop anyone trying to steal anything if they want something!

IF its locked its alarmed you can dead lock the doors by double tapping the lock button

i always double click the remote fob to dead lock the doors, its just habit now..
