Confused 433 or 434mhz keyless fob

Featured Replies

I recently bought a 2008 TitX 2.5T estate which came with a single fob. I want to buy a spare and looking on ebay the sellers list what look like identical fobs but confusingly spec them as both 433 and 434mhz for my car. Can anybody confirm the one I need?

Thanks for the reply. Still confused though as to why most advertised are shown as 434mhz with no distinguishable difference.

No idea but i know for 100% certainty that 433 is the standard.

If you look at the description it reads thus-

Specification:

Model: FCC ID

Basic Color:Black

Button Quantity:3 (Lock,Unlock,Trunk)

Electronics/Battery:Yes (CR2032)

Chip: 4D63-6F 80 bit (Also fits for ID83 Chip.)

Frequency: 433MHz

I'd say that they don't proof read their own listings [emoji848]
