Sync 3 WiFi (or USB) update

Featured Replies

Hi all

I'm currently trying to see if I can update the Sync 3 system on my 2017 Ford Kuga and just wanted a few things clarified.

Currently have the USB stick ready to use and have plugged it in with the engine running. But it seems the Auto Update function is already trying to download via WiFi. The Downloading progress bar doesn't seem to be moving at all.

Can I cancel that attempt, turn off Auto Updates and System WiFi and then re-attempt the USB update?

When the USB drive was plugged in, it didn't seem to show any indication that it's  found anything.

Sorry for the long winded post, hopefully it makes sense.

Current Sync 3 version is 2.2 build 16223

Cheers

Alewyn
