fitting camera

Featured Replies

hi everyone i am about to fit a hardwire kit for a  front and rear  crash cam to my 2014 1.0lt c-max can anyone tell me the best fuse box and circuit to use . thanks i look forward to your replys .

With mine I just wired it to a fuse which got power from ignition. Spliced a wire and checked the voltage whilst off and on ignition to confirm. At the moment I believe I wired mine to a fuse with live power all the time however put a switch in so I can switch the camera on or off. Did it this way so I can have the camera always on when I go out somewhere and whilst the car is parked somewhere and off for when it's parked on the driveway

How far in front of the vehicle does the camera show? could you use it to park up close?

I cant get mine into a position where it would be a parking aid.

Thanks for that Pete .
