Ford Mondeo display, icons.

Featured Replies

Hi there! I've got a Ford Mondeo 1.6 ECOboost from 2014, it's the platinum-business edition. So it's got the Satt-Nav, Heated seats, Xenon lights, LED Lights, all of that stuff. Now, I recently found out there's a "Hidden Menu" by: Holding OK, starting the engine, release OK.

Then you enter some hidden menu, with all types of tests/numbers and such. It also has an "LED Test" which make all the LED's light up in the display. Although, I noticed something weird... It has the pre-glow icon for example, which is for diesel but mine is a petrol... It even has the lane-assistant icon, but that's not even on my car. Are these displays universal or do they just program it into the computer? Quite un-sure, so I decided to ask it here. 😄

Thanks in advance,

Wesley

The icons are standardised/fixed i.e. the row where the glow plug light is situated isn't an LCD which can be programmed to display different things, they're "old school" icons i.e. fixed as part of the cluster and are just backlit.
