mph dial

Featured Replies

I have a st line Edge, the right hand speedo dial only shows MPH around the edge, is it possible to configure it to KmH?

I know I can get the central digital section to show KmH, but would be handy to get the dial to do the same, if for instance I want the navigation to show in the central display.

any ideas?

The outer ring of the speedo is not configurable unfortunately

shame , wish I had paid more attention when I bought it !!

on the than that I cant fault the car............ had it just over a year and no complaints yet , fingers crossed

The option to show the KMS ring inside the MPH ring on the right is buried in the settings menu.

Can't remember how to get there but it is definitely there.

Happy to be proved wrong but it doesn't look possible to me.

Might be different on an ST-Line but on mine.

Speed in KMH, OK to select.

Mine's the same as Hamster above and that's with Sync2

Cross purposes here, Mac2019 asked if the speedo ring could be reconfigured to KPH,  I don't think that's an option because the numbers aren't LED, they are cut-out of the ring.  If it's possible to configure a ring of KPH numbers to be displayed inside the MPH ring then that's great

Mines a 2016 model (66) with Sync3 and the MPH ring is hard moulded in the cluster ...

if you set enable 'Speed in KPH' in Vehicle->Settings->Display ...

You get a KPH ring in the speedo ...

Interestingly, the centre speed (available with Sync3 only I believe) still shows in MPH !!

Thanks Simonb65

your 1st photo looks the same as mine, just showing mph printed on the outer ring

I believe i have Sync3 (as its a 2018 model) so i will give it a try

I did ask the dealership where i got it from but they did'nt know, or even realise that the dial didnt show KPH on the printed dial.

but i supose thats salesmen for you not knowing their product very well ..... lol

To change the centre speed display you need to go in to the main settings menu on the touch screen and change the units to KPH, and this should show on the digital display,

This i managed to do, but i wanted the dial speedo to show KPH, as i sometimes want the sat nav display on the dashboard....

... As per my bottom photo then?! So are you sorted now?

Well, I'm confused. But that's not hard to do.
