Mine is the one with the two swtitches. Although I can manually switch it on or off I can't set it so it comes on and off when opening doors. What am I doing wrong ?

I have a 2013 C-Max 1.6 petrol.

There are two wires from the BCM (passenger fusebox) to the lamps. One is powered up all the time the car is in use, and only goes off some time after shutting all doors with ign off (battery saver). The other is powered while a door is open, and for a controlled time after. It sounds like the 2nd wire is broken or not connected somewhere.

On the Focus Mk3, it is shown as a white-brown wire, I guess a 2013 Cmax will be the same.
