cmax tow bar, so many types

I'm over from France for a few months and want to fit a tow bar while here. I'm a bit baffled by the 3 types of bars I find on Amazon, Gumtree and Ebay. It suggests a difference in model numbering and dates between UK and the ones made in Belgium/Spain. I'm hoping someone here can clear up. On continent my CMAX was sold as Titanium (although no external badges) 2012 TCDI 1.6 diesel mark II.  I'm wondering if mark I and IIs were different in UK and range over different years. 

The differences appear in where bars are bolted to frame. The earlier model type I pre-2010 or 2012? has two long flanges bolting onto sides of frame whereas other models of bars have two uneven flange one bolted from below frame and other to other side. And the third model, which seems most likely for mine has two bolts per mount on both sides attached from below to 4 existing welded in nuts. 

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience to share?

but there are many other variants, none of which seem to work for me but with years that overlap mine.
