Parking close up

Featured Replies

Anyone else having trouble forward parking . The C max bonnet seems to dip down out of site so you don't really know how close you are to say the garage door etc.  .I know you tend to find distance of your car with usage but unfortunately her indoors is having probs. Anyone any tips apart from front sensors.

Not a problem I have, being tall may help maybe a way forward is to park close to and object and find a reference point .

I am having this same problem and it's frustrating. I am around average height at 5' 9" and even with the seat raised fully up I still can't see the front of the car.

Three options I am thinking of:

  1. Front sensors
  2. Front camera
  3. Small 'whip' aerials mounted in the front bumper

Any other suggestions are welcome

Yes same probs, would front camera show low enough?

A dash cam wont but a camera mounted in the bumper or grill would, but that a lot of work would depend on what screen you have in the car too.

parking sensors would be the cheapest option especially if you can dot it yourself..
