SYNC 2 - APPLE CARPLAY??

Hi everyone,

I have just got a 66 plate Kuga with a Sync 2 system. 

Does anyone know how you would get Apple CARPLAY to work with the Sync 2 system?  The Sync system is fully up to date according to the Ford website with the latest updates and I still cant get it to work. 

I have seen several workarounds on youtube etc but these appear to be for Ford Rangers in America only and was wondering if anyone knew of a way round this?

    I dont think you can, i’ve looked at it quite a bit but always refers to Sync 3 to actually use it succesfully
