Transmission Service Required

Asking on behalf of my brother who has a 57 plate mondy which is driving him mad:

Constantly gets message on info display says "Transmission service required."

after stopping engine and restarting everything o.k.

Has used reset message procedure - light goes off but returns next trip - VERY occasionally will get an orange EML which also resets

No fault codes detected by his local garage

Has had oil changed

Sensor changed

Problem persists

Any advice/ideas anyone?

    I have read some were about this, and that owner had a egr problem, after a change of that The car runs fine.
    If I remeber correct it whas in The swedish Ford forum i found it.

    I have exactly the same problem how did he fix it and what was it please?
