Donking noise from rear end poss diff ?

I have a 66 plate edge and it has recently acquired a donking noise from the rear end. It appears when it wants to so im unable to get it to do it all the time. It sound to me like its coming from the rear diff area. It will do it under light and heavy acceleration and seams to be in between gears. Had it on a ramp at work and all arms and bushes seam ok.  Totally stuck So any info would be great. Thanks

    I put tyres on the rear about 4 month ago buts its only recently started doing it
