Focus Titanium X Headlamp Control Module

Featured Replies

Hi,
I am currently experiencing the “headlight malfunction” warning on the dashboard, along with a drivers side headlight that won’t auto level. Having looked into the possible fixes - the main one being complete headlight unit replacement. I was wondering if it is possible to change the control module on my existing headlight (it all works fine bar the levelling issue) and have it coded to my car?
I have seen the modules on eBay for circa £35 so thought it might be a cheaper way to fix it rather than a full unit swap.
Does anyone have any experience/advice in doing this?
Thanks in advance.

Hey,

I’m literally having the exact same issue with my ST - did you have to replace the whole unit or did switching the module work?

Thanks!
