Mondeo Engine Light 2011 TDCI

Featured Replies

New to the forum, just got myself a Mondeo Titanium X 2011 TDCI, and i have got a yellow warning light popping up when i get a few miles down the road, had a quick look using Foscan and ELM327 - I am getting two errors, P269F Exhaust Aftertreatment Glow Pug Circuit / Open and P003A - Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Control A Position Exceeded Learning Limit.

Any idea how to proceed, going to check fuse 6 in the engine bay as read this can blow. Car still drives fine no limp home mode, and the light is gone on startup, just pops up 5 mins down the road.

Fuse 6 had blown, will pop to Halfords and see if putting a new 20amp helps, seen a few posts were this fixed the issue

Put a fuse in 6 and when the light comes on down the road I am guessing it trying to switch something on (Vaporizer) which is tripping the fuse ?

Any ideas ?

It's apparently a relatively common fault for the vapouriser to fail due to getting blocked up, I think it also has it's own internal fuse.  You're probably going to end up needed a new vapouriser as there is a clear fault somewhere that keeps popping the fuse.
