Ford Fiesta 1.4 Zetec Sticking Throttle Speed Sensor Prob

Hi i have a problem with my 2000 y reg 1.4 zetec fiesta when you are driving along depress the clutch to change gear the revs stay in the same place ie 3000 revs changes gear all ok knock the car in to neutral while in motion and still revs at where ever the revs were when moving. press the throttle and revs will increase as soon as you come to a standstill and the speedo hits zero the revs die down to normal changed the throttle sensor in housing still no change then unplugged gearbox speed sensor full elec one and car drives normally so changed this and as soon as you plug the new sensor in the problem persists i am now stuck on what the problem could be no faulkts in the memory can anyone help thanks lev204
