Hi, I recently bought a Ford Mondeo 2016 model that has Sat Nav on the Sync 3 System. On the Ford website they advise that you can keep the system updated via updates through WIFI. I did this and now my system is very sluggish with time delays and the voice instructions are broken up and unclear. Following an effort to clear and reload the software (which unfortunately was unsuccessful) I was in contact with Ford Customer relations and they won't accept any responsibility, as they say the car is out of warranty even though the problem arose as a result of following their instructions. I am now facing a very substantial bill to replace the Sync unit. I am very disappointed with this outcome. Has any other Ford owner encountered a similar issue and if so how was it rectified.
