Hi all,

I have a Grand C-Max on a 62 plate.

I got in the car last week using the key remote and everything seemed fine. When I put the key in the ignition and turned it on, nothing happened. No lights, apart from the normal llumination you get when you open the door. When I tried to crank, nothing.

The car stayed like that for a couple of hours. When I went back later to show a friend, it started as normal!

There were no warning lights, or flashing immobiliser even so very confused.

It's been fine for a week, but today it has done it again.

Anyone have any ideas?

As a starter check the fuse box in the passenger foot well they can get easily kicked and cause lots of daft problems also check the connectors and the engine bay fuse box, also battery terminal.

Had a look at the bcm and one of the plugs seemed loose so I clicked it back into place.

The car has been starting fine for a week now, so fingers crossed eh lol

Thanks for the replies.
