Sync 3 unit freezes

Hi,just wondered if anyone else has had their sync 3 unit completely freeze,rang Ford and they said it may need an update,seems a bit much for a 6 month old car,,,,,cheers

    Not that uncommon. We've probably all had it happen at some time although there were Sync3 updates some time ago to fix this. You can check if there is an updated for hour vehicle at

    My ST-Line was part of the last UK inport batch and it needs a sync3 update. I've downloaded it but I haven't got around to doing the update yet
