Hi,  was half way home and then the glow plug light started flashing. Car ran as though it didn't have a turbo. No unusual noises etc. Any help would be appreciated

You really need basic diagnostics i.e. Forscan and a modified ELM327 dongle.  (there's plenty of info on here about this solution).

It will allow you check for logged error codes (DTCs) including Ford specific ones, clear stored codes (so if you scan at a later date and find codes you know that they're new and not from 2007) and it would also allow you monitor any sensor(s) on the car.

It's running in limp mode. As above you need to read the codes, some of which you can clear, and see which ones return. If you're handy, you can DIY, and save a packet! Just ask here if you want any further details.
