I have a fault with my headlights 

Basically I got water in Passenger side and it made the swivel motor rusty And corroded the multi plug connections I’ve replaced the motor the whole wiring harness inside the headlight and replaced the multi plug with a good clean one.  
im still getting Headlight malfunction but during the daytime with head lights on both lights point straight ahead, but at night time both headlights point outwards. 
is there something I am missing or do I have to try and replace the HCM or reprogrammed it ?
