    I'd have thought that the brake switch is also in the cc system, but my brake lights work. I'm assuming that means the switch is working...

    Have a look on the Talkford forum here ...there's quite a lot on Mondeo owners there as it was originally just a Mondeo forum.

    Nope. Surely it wouldn't have the cruise control standby message. But I'll look tomorrow for sure
