Ambient lights

Featured Replies

I had the alternator replaced a couple of months ago, and a couple of days ago noticed that the ambient lights were not on. Checked the settings and the ambient light and rain lights were not checked . I assumed that they must have been reset when alternator replaced.  Tonight however, noticed ambient lights were again off, and when I checked the settings again, both settings were again cleared..... I have rechecked them, but j am wondering what would cause this.... Battery is not too old, replaced a few months back. Is there a little battery backup or something.  Anyone have any idea.....

They are leds that give a glow to the foot wells, door pockets, door handles and centre console

And completely unnecessary 😃

Actually I disagree as they are red the don't interfere with you night vision and do help, they are also dimmable so you can set them to a level that suits, I'm not a youngster that like bling for blings sake but theses are very helpful, well maybe not the footwell ones for a driver, it does give a cosy feel to the cockpit on a night.

I quite like them too. Just confused as to why they decided to disable themselves again.

Must agree , I like them also even though I didn't know what they called them .

Hi

I've had this same problem after having gearbox work done, I ticked the box for ambient again but it still doesn't work
