MULTI CD CHANGER IN BOOT

Featured Replies

Hi All I have a 2007 Mondeo Mk4 Pre-facelift Titanium X TDCI 140BHP estate, and in the boot there is a 6 disc CD multi changer, however when I select the CD/AUX button or use the converse and select multi-changer in the menu I get the AUX appear and then nothing!

I can load CD into the magazine and can hear the Multi changer motor running so I know there is power to the unit but it will not accept Multi Player when I select it from the converse menu it displays AUX and then nothing, no sound, not error messages or playing of CD's

Any suggestions on how to fix this would be great, I have even tried replacing the Multi Changer with a Like for like model, Serial number unit and still nothing happens..

Getting frustrated now!!
