Hid beam level - 2009 mondeo

Featured Replies

Hi all.

Got a 2009 tit x recently and just noticed something annoying.

Went over a bump in the road and noticed that the cutoff had dropped significantly, almost like the jolt of the pothole dislodged something within the headlights...

The headlights then stay angled down until I restart the car and turn the lights back on - it goes through it's up down test - and the cutoff is back.at the right level.

It's still doing this!

Ok - the first pic shows the beam when the pattern unexpectedly drops, seems to be when I go over a bump.and the car jolts

Second pic shows the beam after I restart the engine and the xenons go through their startup thing and back to the correct level.

What could cause them to drop?
