Was hoping to pick up my first ever new car (age 51) this weekend or early next week. Then got the e-mail saying dealer is closing - no idea how long. 

Oh well; based on what others are going through and being really good at putting things into perspective, I guess I'll have to wait a little longer.

You won't have to pay the Insurance and Tax for it to be mostly sat there for possibly months.

Still, if I knew it could be sat outside doing nothing for months I'd be tempted to collect it later anyway,
It would be a shame to have it and not be able to go further than the shops once a week.

depends where they leave it, hope no more major floods. 

I keep my car garaged. Would have been great to sit in the garage making broom broom noises.

Seriously I could have at least ceramic coated it.

Yeh I would do that too if I had a garage tbh,
I'm wanting to do my first proper polish and coating on my ST (had since Aug),
but I have to go do car stuff on my aunties driveway in ideal weather.
I'm on a terraced street and wouldn't want to leave it there, already had paint damage this week from another car.

That sucks.

Friend pointed out that at least I won't be using up my warranty!
