Manual to climate heater panel exchange

Hi,

I'm wanting to swap out the manual heater for one with climate control on a ford kuga 66 plate 17 registered car

The front panels are available Everywhere.

My question is, can it be done without a ton of work and money, can you just swap them over?

    Not on a kuga specifically but: 

     

     

    The simple answer would be no, its really not as simple as just changing out the control panels unfortunately.

    I think I did once see a post where the owner had swapped a manual panel for a climate one, simply because it looked better - might have been on a Mondeo. In effect it worked like a climate panel if you'd switched "auto" off.
