Near Flat Battery

Featured Replies

Hello all, I'm not mechanically minded so I'm sure this is a stupid question but here goes...

Due to it being stood I guess I can't start my 2011 Mondeo as the battery is nearly flat. I can open the doors etc but when I try and turn it over I just get flashing lights and a fast clicking noise. Now I'm competent enough to get it jump started or to fit a charger but unless I'm being dumb I can't get at both battery terminals without taking the battery out. Is this right? Surely this should be a fairl;y straightforward thing?

Jon

There's an earth/negative post to the right of the battery as you look at it from the front of the car....all in the handbook 👍

Online handbook here if you don't have one
