Hi folks,

Random question, what would be the average range in miles, motorway driving on a full tank of diesel?

Reason I'm asking is I may be buying a mondeo estate 2 lit diesel 2015 and driving from Croydon to Aberdeen and I'm wondering how much tank refills I will need.

    You should get 600 out of a tank quite easily with a 2 l tdci manual

    I used to get an average of 52 mpg on motorway driving and not hanging about to the speed limit so you should be able to do Croydon to Aberdeen on a tankful, depends how hard it is to get away from Croydon and how you drive.
