Before moving to Cyprus last year I purchased an updated map with Europe, For my ford ranger, as obviously we now need it for here, I'm not in the slightest bit technical but having inserted the card the map is blank...what do I need to do any ideas please 

Well, as no-one else has attempted a reply here goes, but first this is the Edge Section not the Ranger Section.

If you inserted a card I suspect you have Sync 2. Maybe a Master Reset would help. After the reset you might have to adjust the settings for the country and location you want.

A picture of your screen might help diagnose the problem as well.

Just had a thought, when I updated my Sync2 to F7 a while ago, the map wasn't blank but it took 2 or 3 restarts of the ignition to show the new version of maps. You've probably tried it but a full switch on and off a couple times may work if you haven't already?

I think she's disappeared, like her map.
