Radio/info screen gone blank system seems to be dead

Featured Replies

Hi I've had a 2012 c-max titanium since Jan and the radio screen has gone off there is no sound from the system, my phone cant see there is a Bluetooth devices anywhere nearby and there is no life in the central panel whatsoever (other than the hazards and door lock buttons which are fine, the voice command button on the column and the usb socket in the armrest is dead as well. fairly sure its not a fuse in the foot well as I did briefly checked them already, some people have mentioned to me that there is another behind the head unit I should check as with the amount of things that have just switched off its clearly some kind of power issue and was probably that.

Where exactly is this other fuse and how do I get to it?

I know how to get the top cover above the screen off, is it further in than that and would it need more dash removal to find?

I was due top pop her back to the garage I got her from as the screen was off when I viewed it and they swapped the unit between then and me picking it up a week later (hence why I was goignt o take it back as they could have sold something with an underlying fault) but with all the covid fun they've closed up for the foreseeable. I'm a keyworker and driving in silence with no clock, connected phone or parking sensor display is lets say a tad annoying....

If anyone could give me any pointers on what other connections etc to check id really appreciate it, especially if they can show any photos.

Other than that I really like the car! lol
