Mystery part 2.2 TDCI

Featured Replies

Have just changed the glow plugs and fuel filter on an Peugeot '07 607 2.2 hdi (the later engine with the higher BHP) and the same engine as used in various Ford's and JLR vehicles.

Completing the job as some of you may know involves removing the inlet manifold. The pictures attached are of a metal bracket that I have memory of where it's supposed to go!

Can any of you guys please help? 🤔

Isn't it some shield for the fuel filter

  • Author

That's what I thought but I can't make it fit or see where it fits. No part number on it either! 🙄

Mystery over, it's the bracket support for the fuel filter itself but strangely you can fit everything without it hence the headscratcher!
