Ford Mondeo Econetic Engine cuts out on oil pressure warning and various electronic faults faults

Featured Replies

I have a Ford Mondeo which every now and again out of the blue flashes up an oil pressure warning light and shuts the engine off, then it will start again 5 minutes later or so. I've had it in to Ford Service a couple of times and they've identified loads of faults codes via a diagnostic check, gear box sensors, codes for automatic transmission (it's a manual), air conditioning and the oil pressure voltage circuit being low. To me it seems logical that there is some kind of wiring issue that is generating all of these sporadic faults, but it seems to be beyond them. Just wondered if anyone else had any experience of a similar weird issue?

Hi did you ever get to the bottom of this fault?.
