2008 C max P2122 Error possibly a short somewhere?

Featured Replies

Hoping the knowledge on here might help, I recently replaced the air intake manifold solenoids to get rid of a P2008 error (diagnosed and fixed from an old thread on here!)

Ran fine for a couple of weeks then flashed up 'power steering malfunction' when trying the ignition, error code being read now is P2122.

When trying the ignition now it's almost as if there is a shor;t everything flicks on/off, I think it's a relay I can hear clicking, but no crank or anything.

Would welcome any help trying to troubleshoot, I'm more carpenter than mechanic, but happy to dabble!

And it was... I won't lie, thought this might have been sarcasm (and it might well have been!) But thank you either way for pointing me towards a simpler cause than I was trying to find

Glad your sorted and thanks for telling us.
