Buying advice on a MK3 Mondeo 2.5 V6 Zetec-S

Hi there,

I have seen a lovely bright red Ford Mondeo Zetec-S for sale that I've pretty much got my heart set on buying. Without giving away too much info on it's details, it's £1k and its a 52 plate.

I know pretty much nothing about the MK3 Mondeo other than that they are super reliable, multi award winning when new and that my Dad had 7 of them.

The car looks mint inside and out, but obviously with buying second hand cars there typically is more than meets the eye.

As owners/enthusiasts, could I politely ask you all for tips and common problems with these cars please? Ie things to check, things to ask the seller, things to look out for, things that commonly go wrong etc.
