Cheaper Heater Panel

Featured Replies

OK, so I've already replaced the heater control valve with a new part, but I'm still only getting hot air coming through. So th next step is the control panel on the dashboard.

My question is... do I have to use the "four button / six air direction dial" control panel, or can I use the (much cheaper on eBay) "two button / three air direction" version?

The current (and probably faulty) panel is four button / six air direction. But the air con failed years ago, and I have no intention of ever repairing it on such an old car. So the extra two buttons for the air con are useless to me. So would I be able to fit the simpler and cheaper control panel into my dashboard?

I've studied the pictures of the back of the various units for sale on eBay and the connections all look the same to me.

Thanks for your help.
