MK2 handbrake light / fluid light

Featured Replies

Hey, I think I've read a post on this already but can't find it again, so sorry for maybe repeating something.

My 2013 ford ka edge has been running decently with no mechanical issues or problems, until the last week where the handbrake / fluid light has been flickering on and off randomly, there seems to be no pattern to it, it doesn't come on for example everytime I press my brakes, it comes on at various speeds and stays on from literally a flicker to up to a minute I'd say.

I took the car to a Kwik fit, I know I know, and had a full free brake check done, my fluid level is fine, everything is fine with the brakes, sensors seems ok etc and they can't find a fault, so don't know why it's coming on. Any ideas or suggestions? Or is it better to take it to a ford dealership?
