Hi, I'm looking for a set of fang style drl's for my MK3 Focus, the last ones only lasted six months, I would be grateful for any recommendations. Thanks

OK, I'll bite... WTF are 'fang style' DRLs?? LOL Though as with all LED DRLs, do NOT buy cheap Chinese Ebay ones, waste of time & money, I have bought plenty in the pas!

Hi Stephen, That's what I've heard them described as, for some reason I can't upload a picture, but they are the vertical rather than the horizontal ones that come installed in the triangular bumper covers.

One of the old regulars had a set on a black MK3 but I can't remember his screen name now...  Matt something?

Anyway, cheap chinese rubbish that doesn't last long is the only option afaik!  Don't think anywhere like Autobeam do them.

Hi Tom, Thanks for your reply, unfortunately I'm on a budget, I think the fang style are nice, I will probably get another

I just got the Mercedes style drl ones and made them myself they are pretty solid units. Click focue replied below.

Thanks for your reply Ian, Brilliant idea I might try it.

Ive some cheapo ones but have added resistors to make them a bit dimmer (more to match the tit x drls) maybe adding the resistors has prolonged the life, had them in for over 2 years now

Thanks Karl, I would like to get some eagle eyes and do my own style, but the ones I've had gave off a bad glare. Could you please explain how you dimmed yours. Thanks

The control box splits off to the two DRLs, I just added a 6.2k ohm resistor to each live cable.
