Mondo ABS light on.

Featured Replies

Hi all,

just purchased a 2010 2.0 diesel auto estate. ABS/ Traction light is on. Previous owner put new abs controller in but it wouldn't start, so fitted old one back. No OBD codes stored. Any ideas where I should start? Is any one sensor more vulnerable than the others etc. Cheers

Hi, start by buying a code reader that runs Forscan and use that to check for codes.      Reliable readers are available from Tunnelrat electronics (look.up their website) for under £20. A lot of generic readers seem to miss Ford codes, so definitely an investment.

I agree. Get code reader with the extra switch for fords. Forscan is free for windows and about 6 quid for app for iPhone / android. Every ford owner should have these.  Cheaper than paying for one read of codes by a garage.
