Hello everyone

Ive had my focus (titanium 1.6 tdci 63 plate) over a month now and the fact that it doesn’t have a built in satnav is bothering me more than it should. Anyway I was just wondering if the car would be compatible is I bought Another ford display unit that comes with a satnav (sync 1.1 or sync 2 maybe) would it also need a new antenna that supports a nav system

    You can actually go straight to sync3 which loads better than sync2.

    Ah right I didn’t think that the pre facelift mk3 would be compatible with sync 3. Thank you for the reply!👍🏽

    I am in process of doing it, I have a 63 plate titanium but instead of modifying the cable myself I orderd a loom from China which takes ages to be delivered. The only really benefit is its plug and play and easy to swap back if you decide to sell car.
