My battery on my Ford Focus 2013 Econetic keeps draining. It's only done 35,000 miles. Surely it can't be the alternator after such short mileage,but any ideas would be a great help.Does anyone have any idea why please ?

    Not sure if you mean. A) it is not Charging  properly.   Or. B) it charges properly but drains when left parked

    7 years, assuming it's the original battery is about par for the course especially if it has been left standing a lot recently.  Nothing to do with mileage, just time to get a new battery.

    Thanks for the replies. i bought a new battery first, but only showing 12.5 volts.Ordered a new alternator. Is this correct..

    Is that when the engine has been off for a while or when the car is running?

    Same thing with my car check ur screen in dashboard goes off when u double lock it should go off after 15-30 mins if it doesn’t its that draining battery same as mine.
