Ford Focus Clutch Burn out at less than 20,000 miles? Anyone had similar issues?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have been driving for 24 years and never had an issue with a clutch in any car I have owned. My Ford Focus 1.5L Ecosport 2017 plate just out of warranty has had the clutch burn out and also damaged the flywheel. Ford are saying that this is due to pilot error so won't provide any goodwill towards the cost. It just doesn't sit right with me that a car so young and with such low mileage would have issues when I have never had them before. Has anyone had a similar issues?
