Hi, wonder if anyone can help.

I recently replaced my alternator.  The old one was definitely defective, smelled and was causing a huge battery drain.  I also replaced the battery.

The new alternator is giving a good recharge voltage reading.  That side of things seems to be working well.  However, I still have between 1.5 and 2amp drain on the battery which is obviously wrong.  I've disconnected the alternator to see if the new one is somehow defective but still get the drain.  I've tried removing fuses and bizarrely the "audio console" fuse does make a difference - reducing the drain to around 0.5 amp.  

Any ideas?
