Hi. Can somebody help identify where the camshaft position sensor is on my 55 plate 1.6 petrol focus. Looked in my Haynes manual / online etc I just can't see it.

    the pic in the first post is different to mine (I thought there's 4 on mine, (one each either end of the cam cover) can't see any on yours

     

    well sure more obvious on mine.... (what's the wires running to the cam at the back on the right)

    In your photo you will see the wiring on the left of the engine that goes to your cam sensor . So sensor is at the back of engine on the left. Just follow the wire.

    Many thanks to iantt it was indeed back left! 

    Now onto the next niggle / fault🤔🤔🤔
