Bonnet sensor/catch problem

Featured Replies

I'm getting an intermittent "Bonnet Open" notification. Have checked and the catch seem fine.

To compound the issue further, It's causing the alarm to go off randomly.

Any idea how I can diagnose the root of the issue or disable the bonnet sensor?

To get you started...

I’m getting the same fault but only had the car a week so it’s still early days not sure what it is as it’s very intermitent

Sorry for the late reply pulled the plug off and joined the wires together and problem solved it's off. Now no bonnet open on my dash thankfully 😁👍🏻 cheers guys

I have the same issue where bonnet open keeps flashing up on the info screen and is setting the alarm off randomly at all times of the day and night.  I have started to just leave the car unlocked now which of course is not the best idea.

Can I just ask, which of the two plugs (left of latch or back of latch) did you disconnect to join the wires together?

I assume the sensor cannot be replaced on its own and you have to buy the complete latch mechanism as the sensor is part of the latch?
