New DPF, What is Ok diff.pressure?

Featured Replies

Just got the dpf changed due to numerous dpf error codes, and car going into limp mode.

Workshop clearly didn't know how to clear the p242f code, that puts the car in limp mode. And want to change sensors as well.. djiiiis.. But i knew the "MAF trick" and did clear codes when back home, with Forscan.. did many test runs and car dont go in limp mode anymore. And no more errors.

But what it Ok dp_dpf (diff. Pressure)?

Pushed the car good (warm engine, flat road) and got it up to 12.5 Kpa.

When idle, its around 0.4-0.5

Is this high? Or Ok...?

2008 Focus, 1.6 tdci.

(Has clocked around 165k km)

Thanks!

That's low, I'd say by that reading it's a very clean DPF
